Cherubs Foundation International Ghana was born from a heartfelt vision in 2005. Founded by Elder Nicholas Osei Bonsu and his wife, Mrs. Felicia Osei Bonsu.
Our Founding Vision: Inspired by Faith
Cherubs Foundation International Ghana was born from a heartfelt vision in 2005. Founded by Elder Nicholas Osei Bonsu and his wife, Mrs. Felicia Osei Bonsu, the foundation was inspired by James 1:27 , “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” During an evangelism event in Ampatia, this scripture stirred a passion in their hearts: to build hope for the underprivileged future.
Humble Beginnings to Growing Family
What began with just nine children has now blossomed into a loving home for sixty children. Today, Cherubs Foundation is a licensed, non-governmental, and non-profit organization, working closely with the Social Welfare Department (Registration No. CG028232016).

At Cherubs Children’s Home, our mission is simple:
To create a safe and loving family setting where every child is valued, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
Supporting the Vulnerable Through Our OVCs Project
We are committed to the care of:

Through our OVCs Project, we provide essential needs such as:
- Compassionate care

- Nutritious meals
- Comfortable clothing

Education at the Heart of Our Work
We believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.That’s why we run a school on our premises, offering classes from nursery to junior high school.
This school is open to:
- Cherubs children
- Children from the local community
This community integration fosters friendships and a sense of belonging for our children.
Building Future Skills with Technology and Training
Our school is equipped with an ICT lab where children gain valuable computer literacy. But we’re dreaming bigger. We plan to build a vocational and technical school to equip our children with practical, career-ready skills.
